What to Expect

Kambo is administered through the skin, which is the safest and most effective way to receive this medicine. It’s absorbed through the lymphatic system and carried through the body via the bloodstream. As it’s applied to the skin, you may feel a gentle tingling sensation as it begins to absorb. A feeling of warmth spreading through the body is the most common first experience. It’s also natural and very common to purge, as the body releases energy and toxins as part of the healing process. The experience is short but powerful, and throughout it all, my intention is to hold space for you with care and support you every step of the way.

The traditional recommendation is to receive three full applications of Kambo within one moon cycle (28 days) to allow the medicine to reach its full potential and offer longer-lasting benefits. Every journey with Kambo begins with a personal conversation. I schedule a one-on-one call with each person to walk through the process, answer your questions, and share a medical waiver to make sure this medicine is the right and safe fit for you. If it isn’t, we’ll look at other healing options together.
